When she was younger, Loren attended a kid’s camp where she learned to train rescue dogs in obedience and agility. Eventually, she became a camp counselor. Ever since, she’s wanted to work with animals for the rest of her life! After working in several different boarding facilities, Loren has found her niche at Austin Urban Vet Center’s Upper Paw Pet Resort.

Loren was born in Austin and has lived in Round Rock her whole life. After becoming a camp counselor at Hearts and Paws in Austin, Loren began working in boarding facilities. She took her talents to daycares in Georgetown, Pflugerville, and elsewhere, but eventually felt drawn to Austin. She began here at Austin Urban Vet in May of 2013.

Shortly after moving to Austin, Loren adopted a feisty terrier mix named Lambchop who now goes everywhere with her. She also owns a bearded dragon named Hanson, who prefers to hang out in the sun and swim around in his pool.
