Jenneka McCarty, DVM
Associate Veterinarian
| Dr. McCarty graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2007, before returning to her hometown of Ithaca, New York, where she completed a rotating medicine and surgery internship at the Cornell University Hospital for Animals. Dr. McCarty, her husband, two daughters and a menagerie of pets (most recently three dogs and a very senior cat), made their home in Ithaca for the next eleven years, before relocating to Austin in 2019.
Dr. McCarty loves all aspects of veterinary medicine and values strong relationships with her clients and patients. She has a special interest in geriatric care and internal medicine, and enjoys the dedicated pet parents she has worked with in Austin, a wonderfully pet-friendly city. During her free time, Dr. McCarty and her family take advantage of the good weather, great food and exciting adventures to be had in Austin and the Hill Country, and she enjoys hiking, cooking, art and seeing all kinds of live music. |
