Alexandra Ives, DVM

Dr. Alexandra Ives is originally from, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. After received her BS in Wildlife Conservation from Virginia Tech, she continued her “wild” education out west completing her DVM at Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona. In school, she was president of H.O.M.E. (Health Outreach through Medicine and Education) providing access to veterinary care at homeless shelters.
When it comes to patients, Dr. Ives loves animals big and small, old and young, whether they have fur, feathers, scales, or hooves. She especially enjoys neurology, ophthalmology, dentistry, and emergency medicine. Her goal is to ensure all animals get to enjoy their life well into their golden years.
When Dr. Ives isn’t practicing medicine, you can find her at the gym weight lifting, or at a local dive shooting pool and two stepping the night away. She enjoys keeping her Great Dane, Birdie and her Aussie mix (a tripod!) Louis active through agility training and exploring all the city’s green spaces.
