Elisabeth Christl , DVM
Veterinarian

Dr. Elisabeth Christl grew up a military brat who has lived in 2 countries and 6 states. With all this change, a constant for her was her love of animals! From a young age, she wanted to be a vet, dedicating her schooling and free time to achieve this. She worked in small animal vet clinics and horse stables throughout grade school.
Dr. Christl attended Auburn University for undergrad where she earned her Bachelor's of Science in Animal Sciences. While in undergrad, she worked at the swine research facility, veterinary school, and mentored other pre-vet undergraduate students while also completing her own research projects as a research fellow. After graduation, Dr. Christl moved to Iowa to attend Iowa State College of Veterinary Medicine. While in vet school, she was a TA in anatomy, worked at a veterinary clinic, and completed research characterizing hamster white blood cells in relation to other mammalian models used in multi-species bacterial trials. Her experience in large and small animal practices has given her a passion for individualized medicine tailored to each patient’s specific needs. She has special interests in dentistry, cardiology, and dermatology.
After earning her Doctorate in 2025, she moved to Austin with the enthusiasm to create meaningful relationships with clients and patients alike while practicing thorough and intentional medicine! She is joined by her husband, Sean, and 2 dogs, Luna the Weimaraner mix and Odie the Jack Russell mix! In her free time, she can be found outside with her dogs soaking in the sun, curled up with a good book, or in the kitchen attempting new recipes and dishes!
